Yesterday the prompt was to to finish a scene to show a character’s reaction. Here are my results:

The man came around the corner, nearly bumping into Sheridan. Without so much as a glance in her direction, he strode on. Now she had proof. She was invisible.

And the opposite reaction:

The man came around the corner, nearly bumping into Sheridan. Without so much as a glance in her direction, he strode on. She took two more steps, then stopped. Turned.

“Watch where you’re going!”

He kept walking. She strode after him. “Hey!” she said. “I’m talking to you.”

Both of these work with my character, though they’d show up in different places in the novel.
