Fact of Life #812: Confessing your feelings doesn't always cause trouble or even happy endings, sometimes it just brings a week of awkward silence.
-Claire, Age 16
Fact of Life #83: Never get into a car with an angry parent, even if your destination is not far away. In a small, enclosed space with no way to stomp off to your room and slam the door behind you, they can yell at you as long as they want. It's also very hard to tune them out, because there is no T.V. or computer to occupy yourself with. Their driving will be erratic; you will be scared for your life in more than one way. And, of course, you would probably hit every single red light.
-Katie
(Unnumbered) Never let your self down, keep your head up, shoulders back, and stay strong. and if you like someone and they don't like you, don't think that no other guy or girl likes you--you might end up dating or marrying the school dork, and maybe you never knew he liked you.
-Kathryn, age 11
